I use wild flowers "Queen Anne's Lace" to try this experiment.

No wonder it's also called "wild carrots" because I'd planted a carrot top (kitchen scrape) in spring and the flowers look very similar to those shown in this photo. 

It also reminds me of "yallow" in my garden. 

Can you spot a "playing mantis" in this photo ?

My Garden update

My student's busy week : cooking for the whole family and raising fish and tadpoles

From Jonathan and Josephine in TX, fifth graders 

We went hiking nearby last few weeks ago and caught some fishes and tadpoles. This is an activity that I have been wanting  to do with my kids and finally get this done. So much fun to watch the tadpoles grow and now we are waiting for the pregnant fishy mama to give birth. We are bringing the frogs back to the lake soon. Many of them are fully grown.

My gardening project: I'm a beginner, so wish me luck.

My brother and I have been painting rocks over the past couple of days and we plan to put them in our garden.

I called my grandma the other day and she told me the recipe to this red chicken that I always loved when she made it in India, so I decided to give it a go.
